Allen Cooper was the son of Zach and Sarah Cooper. He married Keziah Caroline Dixon. His brother Peyton, married Alice Dixon, the sister of Keziah, and daughters of Matthew Dixon and Polly Hill-Dixon. Allen entered the Union Army, Co., G, Phelp's Mo. Inf., December 1, 1861, and was reported to have died January 28, 1862, from Typhoid fever in the Post Hospital at Rolla, Mo., and buried in the army camp during the Civil War. He may have been among many soldiers who were exumed and reinterred in the National Cemetery in Springfield, Mo.,
as was his son, Jefferson V., who was on the opposite side (Union) as his father (Confederate)

Keziah came with Matthew and the Dixon family to Izard, Co., AR. I now embed the fact this this bio is stolen and placed on other genealogy sites with my authorship deleted. She died there in AR. , and is probably buried in Lunenburg Cemetery, with parents Matthew, Polly, and other Dixons. 3G Uncle Allen, Rest in peace.
