DEATH CLAIMS YOUNG MOTHER
MRS. LESTER W. SCHULTZE OF RANSOM
DIES AT ST. MARY'S HOSPITAL
Residents of Ransom and vicinity are grieving today over the untimely death of Mrs. Helen E. Schultze, who passed away at St. Mary's hospital in this city at 2:40 p.m. Thursday, November 8th, following a brief illness of uremic poisoning. An infant born shortly before the death of the mother, also passed away.
Mrs. Schultze was only twenty-five years of age, just in the prime of life. She was a general favorite in and around the Ransom and also had many friends in Streator who are shocked at the news of her death. While it had been realized for several days that her condition was serious, it had been hoped that her splendid vitality would be able to combat the disease.
As Helen E. Hagi, Mrs. Schultze was born in Ransom on May 7, 1898, the daughter to Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hagi, her father being in the undertaking business. She has resided in Ransom all her life and was married on June 19th, 1918, to Lester W. Schultze.

YOUNG WIFE DIES AT ST. MARY'S
MRS. HELEN E. SCHULTZ PASSES AWAY AFTER A SHORT ILLNESS
Mrs. Helen E. Schultze passed away yesterday afternoon at 2:40 o'clock at St. Mary's hospital following a comparatively short illness.
Although she was in very serious condition when brought to the hospital yesterday from her home in Ransom, relatives hoped for the best and were shocked intensely by her death.
She is survived by her husband, Lester and one child, Luella. Mrs. Schultze was born May 7, 1898 in Ransom. Ill. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hagi of Ransom. June 18, 1918 she was united in marriage to Lester Schultze, and the young couple have been very happy since that time in their Ransom home.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. with services from the M.E. church and burial in Allen cemetery.
The entire community of Ransom mourns sincerely the death of this young mother.
