Mishawaka--Marco Dentino, 88, of 118 East Stanley Street, a resident of Mishawaka for some 50 years, died at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in St. joseph Hospital where he had been a patient for five days.
He had been ill ten days. He had been employed by Memorial Hospital, South Bend, until his retirement in 1958, and then worked for the city for four years. He was born Nov. 30, 1879, in Carapella, Italy, and came to Mishawaka from Knox, Ind.
On Aug. 30, 1904, in Italy, he married Clorida Serfaini, who survives. Also surviving are four sons, Angelo, Joseph J., George and Robert M., all of Mishawaka; one daughter, Mrs. John P. Swanson of Mishawaka; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 7 p.m. today in the Bubb funeral Chapel where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Monica's Catholic Church. Rt. Rev. Msgr. Leo A. hoffman, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Dentino was a member of the church.
