Mishawaka--George Dentino, 74, of 2023 Lincoln Way East, died at 5 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Hospital, South Bend, after an illness. He retired from the Mishawaka Fire Department in 1968 after 25 years of service. He also was a patern maker for the Dodge Division, in Mishawaka. He was born Sept. 2, 1913 in Toluca, Ill and had spent most of his life in this area.
On May 30, 1937 in Kimmel, Ind. he married Emma Mae Groh. She died Sept. 6, 1991. survivors include a daughter, Connie Lee Regina of Mishawaka and a son Gary R. Dentino of Mishawaka; five grandchildren and a brother, Joseph Dentino of Mishawaka.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today in Bubb Funeral Chapel with burial in Fairview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Cancer Society. He was a member of Indiana Firefighter Association and International Firefighter Association.
