Mishawaka-Robert M. Dentino, 63, of 320 Manor Drive, died at 2 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital, South Bend after an extended illness. He was born in Mishawaka on Spet. 26, 1920, and had lived here all his life. He retired in 1980 from Bendix Corp. after 26 years.
He married Eleanor VanGoethem in Detroit on Oct. 2, 1943. She died on Jan. 29, 1959. He married Mary Blumberg in South Bend on May 22, 1965. She survives with a daughter, Dr. Mariellen Dentino of Evansville, Ind.; three sons, James R. of Danville, Ill., Steven R. of Bremen and David R. of Escondido, Calif.; a grandchild; and two brothers, Joseph and George of Mishawaka.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Rev. Camillo Tirabassi, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. He was a member of the church, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Bendix Management Club and Bendix Senior Management Club, and was a World War II Veteran.
