Patrick was a collector of sailboats and a devoted Pittsburg Steeler Fan. He was a carpenter and worked closely with his good friend, Thomas Carneal.
He is survived by his wife, April H. Abrecht; his children, Destinee and Tyler Abrecht, Deana, Gage, Aailiyah and Joshua Abrecht; his father, Richard W. Abrecht, Sr. of Woodsboro; two brothers, Richard W. Abrecht, Jr.of Keedysville, Michael Abrecht and his wife Mary of Woodsboro; four sisters, Barbara Crummitt of Frederick, Deborah Bowers and her husband Darryl of Walkersville, Angie Abrecht of Thurmont, Amy Weddle and her husband Todd of Thurmont; his mother and father in law, Patricia and Ed Harden. Patrick was preceded in death by his mother, Penelope Abrecht.
