Born at 13th and McGee in Kansas City, Missouri. Early Eucation In the School of Kansas City, Kansas. Graduated
from Central High School, in Kansas City, Missouri and from Spaulding's Commercial Collage in Kansas City, Mo.

Kenneth started his business career as a clerk in a seed house. Then he became a clerk in the banking establishment of Northrup & Sons. In 1887, the business was reorganized as the Northrup Banking Company, and Kenneth was made its cashier. In 1894 Kenneth organized the Merchant's Bank of Kansas City, Kansas and became its cashier. In 1895 the bank consolidated with the Commercial National Bank of Kansas City, Kansas and Kenneth served as its vice president until 1908 when he organized the Security National Bank of Kansas City, Missouri, in which he serves as vice president. He was also a director in the Commercial National Bank and the Kansas Trust Comapny.

Member of St. Paul's Episcopal church in Kansas City, Kansas.
