JOSEPH HENRY WILDE

Joseph Henry Wilde, 86, 618 Connecticut Avenue, died Tuesday morning at Sweetwater County Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. He had been a patient two days.

Born July 9, 1878, at Coalville, Utah, he had been a Rock Springs resident two years. He was a retired rancher and a member of the LDS Church.

He and Mary Jane Sawley were married Aug. 20, 1902, in Coalville. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple June 20, 1905.

He lived in Coalville for 12 years and was former superintendent of Sunday School and YMMIA and served as counselor in three bishoprics in Cluff Ward.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ellis (Vera) Fox, Rock Springs; Mrs. Reva Clark, Coalville, and Mrs. Lawrence (Genevieve) Jenkins, Plain City, Utah; two brothers, Ernest Wilde, Coalville, and Sylvester Wilde, Marion, Utah; one sister, Mrs. Lois Boyer, Coalville; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nices and nephews.

Funeral services were Friday afternoon at Summit Stake Center, Coalville. Burial was in Coalville Cemetery.
