Services for Thomas O Mankin, 66, Choctaw, will be at 10 am Saturday in Street & Draper Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mankin died Wednesday at Veterans Hospital. Born at Richardson, Texas, Mankin came to Oklahoma in 1907, settling at Capitol Hill. He moved to Choctaw in 1943 and was a retired dairy farm employee. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs Mary Lou Simpson, Highland, CA; two sons, James, 1324 NW 7 and Rollie, of the home; a stepson, Frank Alsup, Roswell, NM; two sisters, Mrs Eva Pettit, Yale; and Mrs Della Valentine, OKC; and a brother, James, Houston, TX.
