Mrs. Williams was born January 25, 1905 at Brush Hill, Indian Territory to Larry James and Katherine (Marlin) Cole. She was united in marriage to Marion Williams, on Nov. 12, 1922 at the Baptist Parsonage in Checotah. She was a homemaker a charter member of the FLEAS, VFW Aux., the Rebecca's, Eastern Star, an avid fisher woman, and a member of the Onapa Baptist Church. She was known as Aunt Ruby to many in the community.
She is survived by two sons: Cole and Jack Dean Williams both of Checotah, six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Marion in 1985, four brothers, and three sisters. Casketbearers for the services will be Carl Shatswell, Ken Pemberton, Dave Williams, and Bobby James.
