Funeral services for Emma Parton, 46, of Carnegie were held Saturday, January 31, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at the Pitcher-Hackney Funeral Home Chapel of Carnegie with Rev. Victor Rivera officiating.
Wake services were held Friday, January 30, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Pitcher-Hackney Funeral Home Chapel in Carnegie.
Emma was born September 4, 1958 in Oklahoma City to Vincent H. and Grace Bointy and died Tuesday, January 27, 2004 in Oklahoma City.
She attended Riverside Indian School and received her GED from the Kiowa Tribe. She enjoyed life to the fullest and loved her family, the family get together's and just being around people. She was a member of the Kiowa Tribe and attended the JJ Methvin Methodist Church in Anadarko.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny Cisco of the home; two sons, Rankin Layne Parton, Jr., of Carnegie and Ronnie Rex Parton of Anadarko; two daughters, Traci Laverne Parton and Ursula Anne Parton, both of Anadarko; her mother, Grace Bointy of Carnegie; three grandchildren and one on the way, Taylor Morgan Pahcoddy, Misty Dawn Yeahpah and Jhamera K. Gibson; two brothers, Bryon C. Bointy of Edmond and Charles H. Bointy of Boulder, Colorado; nine sisters, Sanora Bointy Tsotigh, Anadarko, Verna V. Bointy, Carnegie, Sharyl Loyd, Anadarko, Rosemary Bointy, Elgin, Doris Jean Johnson and Vivian "Sugar" Antonio Cisco, Darnell Cooper, both of Anadarko, Teresa Castillo of Binger and Allison Henry of Lawton; several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Vincent H. Bointy; her husband, Rankin Parton, Sr., maternal grandparents, Emma B. Cannon Kauyedauty and George Kayedauty, paternal grandparents, William Bointy and Sally Hokeah Bointy and one brother, Ronald L. Bointy.
Burial was in the Samone Cemetery under the direction of the Pitcher-Hackney Funeral Home in Carnegie.
