Billy is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Helen Saxon, sons, Lanis R. Saxon and his wife, Janet of Springfield, MO and Royce G. Saxon and wife, Jenny of Albuquerque, NM, five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Billy was preceded in death by his sister, Rena Mosley and parents, Benjamin and Annie Saxon.
Billy was a Technical Sergeant in the Army Air Force. Billy worked as an accountant for Jeffries Eaves Trucking and later for Santa Fé Downs.
Billy loved to farm on his place in Bosque Farms, NM.
Services will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2010, 1:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Westside Chapel, Albuquerque, NM. Burial will take place at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM at a later date.
