Funeral services for Benjamin Franklin Saxon, 87, of Carthage, were held Sunday, Aug. 26, in the Hawthorn Chapel with the Rev. H. B. Roquemore and Dr. John Gregson officiating.
Burial followed in Restland Cemetery.
Mr. Saxon, a farmer, died Saturday, Aug. 25, at Panola County General Hospital.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Annie Mae Saxon of Carthage; one son, Billy Bob Saxon of Santa Fe, N.M., one daughter, Mrs. S. P. Mosley of Carthage, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
