GREENVILLE — A memorial service for Ina Beatrice Adams Thompson, 71, of Sulphur Springs will be conducted in the Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home chapel, at 2 p.m. today with nephew Walt Mannon officiating.

There will be no formal visitation.

Honorary pallbearers are Jean Dixon, Sherri Chambers, Pat Naher, Bill Thompson, Kathy Thompson and Betty Bassham.

Mrs. Thompson passed away at her residence the morning of June 29, 2011.

She was born Jan. 30, 1940, in Delta County, daughter of Loye B. and Lillian (Anglin) Adams. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two brothers, Loye B. Adams Jr. of Sulphur Springs and Ray Adams of Stafford; five sisters, Helen Ruth Dunavin and husband Jearl of Greenville, Loyce Mozelle Rutledge and husband Jim of Amarillo, Edith Estelle White and husband Mack of Quitman, LaVada Fay Simpson and husband Charles of Nevada and Patsy Ann Boshears-Crawford and husband Roger of Sulphur Springs; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one son, William Dean Thompson, and one brother, B.J. Adams.

Memorials may be made to Lake Country CASA or Friends of the Library.
