Lillian Edwinna Stevens passed away July 15, at the age of 90. She was born on March 26, 1919 to John and Myrtle (Wasson) Hood in Akron, Ohio.

One of her early jobs was working as a riveter on war planes during the early 40's. After the war she became a homemaker and loved raising her two children. In 1961 she moved to Georgetown, Calif., and worked at the Buckeye Lodge. Then in the mid 60's she moved her
family to Auburn where she worked at the Coffee Cup. She enjoyed many years as a waitress. This is the time where she met the love of her life Wayland (Steve) Stevens at the Auburn Hotel. Together they loved socializing at the Casa Adobe in Auburn. Which is
where they held their Wedding reception in May of 1970. In the early 70's they moved to Petaluma, Calif., and then to Sonoma where she stayed till Steve passed away in 1994. She then moved to Shingle Springs to be by her family. She lived in the Cameron Park Village
Apartments, till her death.

She was preceded in death by her father & mother, sister Edith and brother Johnny. She is survived by brother Carl (Marion) Hood of Ohio, and sister Alma Robinson of Ohio, daughter Joyce (Chuck) Miller, of Shingle Springs, and son Jack (Theresa) Dilworth of Auburn, stepdaughters Sheri Stevens and Robin Hulsey, both of San Jose. 12 grandchildren, 15 great grand- children, and 4 great great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held July 26, at 3 p.m. at Joyce Millers home, 4151 Sotlile Lane, Shingle Springs, Calif. Burial will be private at the Golden Gate National Cemetery, San Bruno, Calif., where she will join her beloved Steve.
