Edith G. Shira, 81, died Tuesday, March 16, 1999.

Mrs. Shira was born in Akron, was a homemaker, and member of the First Assembly of God.

Preceded in death by her son, William Lyle Shira, she is survived by her husband, William; son and daughter-in-law, Richard D. and Charlotte Shira of Fremont, Calif.; daughter and son-in-law, Vonda and Donald Gospodinsky of St. Petersburg, Fla.; daughter-in-law, Barbara Michael Shira of Noonan, Ga.; brothers and sisters-in-law, John and Mildred Hood of Placerville, Calif., Carl and Mariam Hood of Cuyahoga Falls; sisters, Edwinna Stevens of California and Alma Robinson of Cuyahoga Falls; nine grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends today from 7 to 9 p.m. at CIRIELLO FUNERAL HOME--ROSE HILL CHAPEL, 3653 W. Market St., where funeral services will be held Saturday, 2 p.m., with Rev. Eugene Meador officiating. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park.
