Mrs. Pearl Durrence Died Tuesday

Mrs. Pearl Bacon Durrence,92,died in Glennville Tuesday of last week after a long illness.

The Tattnall County native was a member of Beard's Creek Primitive Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gladys Tyree of Ludowici and Mrs. Ellois Morris of Ludowici; two sons, James and William F. Durrence, both of Hinesville; three sisters, Mrs. Bernie Hill of Atlanta, Mrs. Ava Dell Kicklighter and Mrs. Sue Nell Hodges, both of Glennville; a brother, Alton Bacon of Glennville; 20 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held 11 a.m. last Tuesday at Rimes Mortuary, burial was in Beard's Creek Cemetery.
