ROCHELLE - Kenneth J. Giese, 79, of Rochelle, died Saturday, Feb. 18, 1995 in the Rochelle Health Care East Nursing Home. He was a technical supervisor for Caron International prior to retiring in February of 1981 after 20 years of service.

He was born on June 20, 1915 in Chippewa Falls, Wis., to Louis H. and Gertrude (Fischer) Giese. He married Kathryn "Muff" Moffit on Sept. 4, 1948 in Madison, Wis.

He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Masonic Horicon Lodge 244, American Association of Textile Chemists and Rochelle Men's Garden club.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Thomas S. (Cynthia) of Peoria; one daughter, Mary Margaret Giese of Lawrence, Kan., and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Faith Lutheran Church on Flagg road. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery in Chippewa Falls, Wis., at a later date. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Unger-Horner Funeral Home in Rochelle.

A memorial has been established to the Faith Lutheran Church.
