Alma Grotewold, 84, of Larchwood died Wednesday, Jan 28, 1998, at Fellowship Village, Inwood.
Services were Saturday at United Church of Christ, Larchwood, with interment in Larchwood Cemetery.
Alma Rorem was born Oct. 30, 1913, the daughter of Andrew and Anna (Monen) Rorem. She attended country school near Larchwood and then helped on the family farm.
On Dec. 16, 1930, she married Harry Grotewold. They farmed near Larchwood.
Her husband died June 14, 1980. She moved to Lyon Manor Care Center in Rock Rapids in April 1996 and later to Fellowship Village.
Survivors include two sons, Gary and Robert; one daughter Betty; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and three sisters, Jemina, Lenora and Bertena.
