Julia and Lars were married on December 27, 1901. They have 11 children Carl, Minnie, Agnes, Eleanor, Ella, Alfred, Edwin, Arthur, Melvin, Clara and Julius. Julia is the daughter of Andreas Andriason and Anna Maria Johannesdatter. Mrs. Julia Christenson, 96, of Bemidji, died Wednesday at the Bemidji Nursing Unit. Mrs. Christenson's funeral will be held Friday at 1:30 P.M. at the First Lutheran Church under the direction of the Olson-Schwartz Funeral Home. The Rev. Stephen Knudsen will officiate. Interment will be at the Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 2:30 P.M. Thursday and continue until the hour of service on Friday. She is survived by four sons, Carl, Eureka, Calif.; Julius, Puyallup, Wash.; Arthur, Minneapolis; and Melvin,Bemidji; four daughters, Minnie (Mrs. Andrew) Moe, East Grand Forks; Mrs. Ella Roberts, Bemidji; Agnes (Mrs. Kenneth) Rogers, Tacoma, Wash.; and Eleanor (Mrs. Orville) Helm, Tenino, Wash.; 30 grandchildren and many great and great-great-grandchildren.
