Mrs. H. G. (Mary) Baugh, 72, 25 Ash St., Riverside Community, died Monday evening at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Doyle Whittenburg, 16 Westwood Circle, following an illness of one year.

She was born July 17, 1904 in Floyd County, daughter of the late Talley Sartin and Pearl Mize Sartin. She had resided in Rome and Floyd County her entire life, and was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and the Ladies Sunday School class. Her husband, Henry Grady Baugh, died April 21, 1958.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Doyle Whittenburg and Mrs. Henley Hart, Rome, Mrs. James E. Graves and Mrs. R. H. Roberson, Macon; two brothers, Ike Sartin and Jim Sartin, Rome; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Riverside Baptist Church with the Revs. Wayne Grover and Billy Smith officiating. Interment will be in East View Cemetery. The body will lie in state in the church from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the funeral home and at other hours will be at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Doyle Whittenburg, 16 Westwood Circle.

Pallbearers will be Bryant Shortt, Lemuel Corbin, J. O. Selman, Bennett Proctor, Woodrow Kisor and Cabot Barnett.

Jennings Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
