Fayette Albee, son of Hiram Albee and Mary Jane Barrett, was born August 18, 1855, in Marcellon,
Columbia County, Wisconsin. he died May 29, 1929, at Pardeeville in the same county, aged 73 years, 9 months and 11 days, and was buried there beside the remains of his wife in the Albee Family plot in the Marcellon Cemetery.

On March 26, 1878, Fayettte was united in marriage to Ella A. Campbell, in a Presbyterian ceremony
perofrmed by the Reverend Samuel Wyekoff at the Portage, Columbia County, Wisconsin, and
witnessed by Charles Chruchnou and Mary Campbell. Ella was born February 8, 1858, in Wisconsin,
daughter of John Campbell and Pauline McDonald, both born in New York. She died October 3, 1907, probably in Marcellon, aged 49 years, 7 months and 25 days, and was buried there in the family plot in the Marcellon Cemetery. Their children, all born in Marcellon, Wisconsin, were:

The red granite Albee gravestone in Marcellon Cemetery is inscribed "Fayette Albee Aug. 18, 1855 - May 29, 1929" and "Ella A. Wife of Fayette Albee Born Feb. 8, 1867 Died Oct. 3, 1907. There was also two foot stones inscribed "Mother" and "Father"

In the 1880 US Census, Fayette Albee was listed as a 24 year old farmer living in Marcellon, Columbia County, Wisconsin, with his 23 year old wife Ellen A. Albee and their one year old daughter Levina (Lorena) Albee/ Also listed with them was his 63 year old widowed mother, Mary J. Albee.

In the 1900 US Census, Fayette Albee was listed as a 44 year old farmer living in Marcellon with his
43 year old wife Ella Albee and their children; 18 year old John Albee and 16 year old Mabel Albee.
Also listed with the family was his 83 year old widowed mother Mary J. Albee.

In the 1910 US Census Fayette Albee was listed as a 54 year old widower living in Marcellon with
his 32 year old daughter Larina Cuff and her children: 12 year old Duane J. Cuff; 19 year old Allan Cuff; 8 year old Ella M. Cuff; and 6 year old Chester Cuff.

In the 1920 US Census, Fayette Albee was listed as a 64 year old widowed farmer living in Pardeeville, Columbia County, Wisconsin. Living with him was his 42 year old housekeeper, Hulda Radel and her 16 year old daughter, Irma M. Radel.
