Mary Geiger is the sister of my great grandmother, whose name was Isabelle Rose Geiger. Mary was the second child to Daniel and Marie Geiger. She grew up in a tenament in NYC, and married John Bergold in 1872. They had four children, John, Josephine, William and Frank. When John passed, Mary was pregnant with their fifth child, Isabelle.
Josephine is buried in the grave next to her mother, in the Paul plot. (She married Robert Paul.) John Bergold died at the age of 37.
In April, 1899, Mary married Julius Soldin.
The couple were very happy, and visited Mary's sister,Isabel frequently. They were close sisters, as a matter of fact, they purchased gravesites back to back to each other,so they would be nearby for eternity.
