Geogianna was the seventh child of Daniel Geiger and Maria (nee Lang) Geiger of Yorkville. She was named for Georgia, at the time of her birth Sherman's march was very much in the minds of people.
She married James Christian, who was born in NYC, and they had three children.
Five of the Geiger sisters purchased graves right next to each other,so that when family visited they could say a prayer and tend all of the graves.
I still do.
