Mr. Wesley Elliott. 88, of Colorado City, died Sat., July 8, 2006, at his residence. Services were held Monday in the Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel with Dr Jerry Shields and Dr. Sammy Elliott officiating. Burial followed in the Westbrook Cemetery, under the direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Elliott was born to Jessie and Lula Witt Elliott on May 17, 1918, in Westbrook. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the 62nd. Field Artillery Group. He married Deanie McCorcle on July 1, 1955, in Lovlngton, New Mexico. He was a painting contractor and worked for Mitchell County Hospital as Maintenance Supervisor from 1978 until 1986. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and a lifelong resident of Mitchell County.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Deanie Elliott of Colorado City-and numerous nieces and nephews who love him very much.
