Burl Robinson
Burl Robinson, 85, of Claremore, Oklahoma, formerly of New Martinsville, died Sunday February 1, 1981 in Claremore. He was born in Wetzel county February 27, 1895, the son of the late John H. and Ida Virginia Morgan Robinson. He was a Methodist, a veteran of World War I and a member of Wetzel Lodge 39, AF & AM.
Surviving are his wife, Delora Newman Robinson; a daughter, Mrs. C. M. Constance Starkey of Claremore, Ok; Five sons, Joseph of Strongsville, Ohio; James of Claremore, John of New Martinsville, Dr. E. Kent Robinson of Denver, Colorado, and Ronald of Kokomo, Ind; a brother A. T. Robinson of Florida; a sister Mrs. Ernest L. White of Moundsville; 23 grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
Friends were received at the Iams Funeral Home, New Martinsville Wednesday, where services will be held at 2 pm today (Thursday) W. H. Sliter will officiate. Interment in North View Cemetery, New Martinsville. Graveside Masonic services by Lodge No. 39 AF & AM.
