Charles Ray Miller, 51, of Eckford Township, Homer, died Friday, November 7, 2003, at Foote Memorial Hospital in Jackson.

Mr. Miller was born May 28, 1952, in Albion, to Fred and Minerva (Prater) Miller.

He graduated from Homer High School.

He was a long-time farmer and also worked at Corning Glass, Midwest Foundry, Barton Farms and Hayes Albion.
Mr.

Miller enjoyed white water rafting, hunting, sports and spending time with his sons and granddaughter.

He is survived by two sons, Stacey Lee Miller of North Carolina and Raymond A. Miller of Homer; a granddaughter, Savannah of North Carolina; five sisters, Kathleen Litton and Glenna (Tilden) Elkins, both of Kentucky, Janice (Dallice) Williams of Litchfield, and Josephine Hoyt and Barbara (Lance) Bodner, both of Homer; five brothers, Washington (Lorraine) Miller, Thomas (Minnie) Miller, Willis (Doris) Miller and Dallis (Linda) Miller, all of Homer, and Willard (Mary) Miller of Parma.

Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Charly Nicole Miller.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 11, at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home in Albion, with the Rev. James Snyder officiating. Interment followed in Fairview Cemetery in Homer.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association.
