George McGrath died at his home in Hector, last Tuesday morning of cancer of the stomach. He had been ill for about six months. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Christy McGrath of Byron and lived there until about nine years ago when he moved to Hector. He is survived by a wife, who is a daughter of Mrs. John Maloney of this city, and four young sons. The remains were brought to New Richland Wednesday. The funeral was held at the St. Mary Catholic church yesterday.
