Mrs James A Rariden, the daughter of Leander and Ann Voyles Tow, was born near Mitchell in 1864. For the past 30 years she, with her family, resided in Detroit, Michigan. In June, 1936, Mr and Mrs Rariden returned to their large farm near Hicksville, Ohio because of the failing health of Mrs. Rariden.
She is survived by the husband, three sons, Wilford of Hicksville, Ohio, L. B. Rariden, Greenfield, Lake E. Rariden, Fort Wayne, and five grandchildren.
The deceased was a devoted member of the Baptist Church, belonging to the Spice Valley Church in her youth, and in later years a member of the East Jefferson Baptist Church in Detroit.
