Mrs. Sallie Skirvin, well known on the east side of the county, died Tuesday at the home of her father, Squire W. L. Adams, and the funeral is from the Adams home Thursday at 2 and burial at Mt. Gilead Church east of the city, services in charge of Rev. Williams.
Mrs. Skirvin was the widow of Jasper Skirvin who died 22 years ago and was 58 years of age. Her home was on East 3rd Street, but she had gone to the home of her father in University Park where, after five week's sickness, death came. One son, Earl, mourns the death besides many friends.
Pall bearers are: Samuel Hinkle, Delmar Beattie, Robert Skirvin, Morton Adams, Aubrey Gray, Homer Thompson.
