Mrs. Elizabeth Adams, wife of Squire W. L. Adams, died at her home near Unionville yesterday morning at 7 o'clock of consumption. Deceased was one of the best known and highly respected ladies residing in Benton township. She was 69 years of age and leaves a husband and four grown children to mourn her loss. She has been ill and in poor health for almost a year. She was a member of the Christian church. The funeral will occur from Mt. Gilead today at 2 o'clock the services being in charge of Rev. T. J. Clark of the Kirkwood Avenue Christian church.

The funeral of Mrs. W. L. Adams took place from the Mt. Gilead church Sunday afternoon and was one of the largest that has been held in that vicinity, as it is estimated that no less than 1,000 neighbors and friends attended. Rev. T. J. Clark had charge of the services, and Senator Fulk made a short talk.
