From The Adams Review, 1902:
Mrs. Anton Schneider Dead.
Just as we go to press a telegram was received by M. Schneider announcing the death of Mrs. Anton Schneider in Salt Lake City, Utah.

From The Adams Review, 1903:
Death of Mrs. Anton Schneider.
As announced in these columns last week, Mrs. Anton Schneider, died in Salt Lake City, Utah.

At the time the news was received here we could learn none of the particulars.

About fifteen months ago Mr. and Mrs. Schneider and two youngest children, left Adams for Salt Lake City, to see if the change would benefit Mrs. Schneider's health, also having been afflicted with an affection of the lungs for a few months previous. After a short stay there the change seemed to cause a great improvement in her condition and their other three children, who remained here, joined their parents. A few months ago, however, Mrs. Schneider's health began failing rapidly and on Christmas morning at about 11 o'clock the end came. Mr. Schneider and five boys left Salt Lake City with the remains last Sunday, arriving in Adams, Wednesday afternoon, at 2 o'clock. The remains were taken to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Theo. Sabel, Mrs. Sabel being a sister of Mrs. Schneider.

Friday morning, Jan. 2, 1903, the funeral services were held in Sacred Heart church, Father Reichl conducting the services. The remains were laid at rest in the church cemetery.

Lizzie Weber was born near Johnsburg, July 28, 1862, and until her departure for Salt Lake City, as stated above had always made her home in this neighborhood.

She was married to Anton Schneider at Johnsburg, 18 years ago this month. Six children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Schneider, a daughter dying in infancy, the remaining five children and her husband surviving her.

The children are Mike, Eddie, Aloysius, Clements and Alfred. Mrs. Theo. Sabel, Mrs. John Mullenbach, Nick Weber of this place and Johnsburg, and Mat Weber of McHenry, Ill., are sisters and brothers of the deceased. Her mother is also living and was present at the funeral. Mr. Weber, her father, died about eight years ago.

A large number of the friends of the deceased were present at the funeral. The bereaved husband and motherless boys have the heartfelt sympathy of all in their bereavement.
