Daniel Lowe Dies at Hospital

Daniel Wesley Lowe, 1107 Kearney, 64, farm laborer and cement worker died at an Idaho Falls hospital from a heart attack Tuesday which he suffered at his home.
He was born April 3, 1907, in Idaho Falls the son of Daniel and Elizabeth Yancey Lowe. He had lived all his life in Idaho Falls and attended schools here. He had been a farm laborer and cement worker and engaged in the construction industry.
He was a member of the LDS Church and an avid fisherman.
Mr. Lowe married Loveda Butte, March 8, 1928, in Idaho Falls.
Mr. Lowe is survived by his widow; the following sons and daughters: Leon Dan Lowe, Mrs. Dean (Donna Rae) Justesen, Mrs. Joe (Sally Ann) Scheer, Robb Gordon Lowe, Mrs. Raymond (Peggy) Judy, Dennis Wayne Lowe, with the U.S. Navy in Leamoore, Calif., Mrs. Bob (Lillian) Johnson, Firth; Mrs. Richard (Lynda) Judy, Pocatello, Mrs. Jon (Sherry Lynn) Bengtson, South Carolina, and Vicki and Hope Lowe at the family home; 37 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren: one brother, Harold Lowe, Idaho Falls. He was preceded in death by six children, four boys and two girls, and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Wood Chapel of the Pines with Bishop Mark Woodland of the 21st LDS Ward officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:30 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
