Merritt J. Webster, formerly of this village, a millwright employed at the Clark Textile Company, dropped dead late yesterday afternoon [15 Mar] while at work at the textile plant in Saratoga Springs. Mr. Webster was 44 years old, was injured several years ago while at work as a lineman and has since that time been subject to epileptic fits. It was while suffering from one of these attacks that he died before a physician could arrive.

He is survived by his wife, three children, Norman, Irving and Gladys; his mother, Mrs. Olivre Jones and two brothers, James Edward and Osborn Webster, all of this village and two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Palmer of Troy; and Mr.s Katherine Conklin, of Schenectady.

The funeral will be held at Carter’s rooms Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock the Rev. D. E. Sprague, pastor of the Baptist Church officiating.
