Oliver Jones, an aged veteran, and Mrs. James (Sarah C.) E. Webster, both of this village [Ballston Spa], were married on Friday, Jan 16, by the Rev. Dr. W. H. Washburn at his residence on Saratoga Avenue.

After sustaining a stroke of apoplexy a week ago, Mrs. Sarah C. Jones, widow of Oliver Jones, died at 11:35 o'clock this morning at her home in South St., [Ballston Spa]. The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock Wednesday after noon from the the late residence and burial ill be in the Ballston Spa Cemetery.
She leaves 2 daughters, Mrs. Mattie Palmer of Watervliet and Mrs. Kittie B. Coughlin of this place; 2 sons, James E. and Osborn E. Webster; 1 brother, John Van Benschoten of Patterson, N. J. and 1 sister, Mrs. Rosette Shaughnessy of Troy. Mrs. Jones was born in Guilderland, Albany County, and came here 50 years ago. She was about 75 years old.
