DEATH OF CHARLES WEST
Charles West, one of the best known citizens of Elwood died at his home at 1428 South Twenty-Fourth street, yesterday afternoon. A wife and several children survive. The funeral will take place at the home on Wednesday aftrnoon at 2 o'clock, in charge of Rev. Sellers, of the Christian church, and the interment will be in the city cemetery. Mr. West had been employed at the tinplate factory and was highly esteemed by his fellow workmen. (Elwood Call Leader, August 8, 1905.)
