Ida L. Auld, 90, of Rubottom, OK was born June 17, 1920, at Orr, OK, the daughter of Eugene Franklin and Sarah Josephine Chitwood Cartwright. She passed away Friday, June 3, 2011 in Mercy Health Love County, Marietta, OK.

A resident of Love County all of her life, Mrs. Auld was a homemaker and was also employed at Marietta Sportswear for 25 years. She and H.L. "Les" Auld were married in Gainesville, TX on August 13, 1957, and he preceded her in death on November 9, 1990. Mrs. Auld enjoyed quilting and canning. She was a member of the Rubottom Baptist Church

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Auld was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Nelda Lee Wood; twin granddaughters, Amberly Auld and Tiffany Auld; a great-granddaughter; a great-great-grandson; six brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Ray and Barbara Russell and Keith and Mary Isbell of Thackerville, OK and W.A. and Sue Auld of Rubottom; two daughters and son-in-law, Barbara and Donald Harris of Burneyville, OK and Kay Cole of Rubottom; sister, Wanda Chapman of Velma, OK; son-in-law, Robert Wood of Clatskanie, OR; 22 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren and 26 great-great-grandchildren.

Casket bearers will be Michael Cole, Steven Flanagan, Vernon Keith Isbell, Bobby Choate, Dewayne Russell, Ricky Harris and J.D. Harris. Honorary bearers are members of the Adult III Women's Sunday School Class of Rubottom Baptist Church – Mary Lou Hallum, Elena Loving, Lois Dewbre and Hazel Hyman; Alene Lacy, Dr. Tom O'Connor and Lenny Cole.
