Clara Louise Hugos, the fourth
child of John R. and Anna Hammer
Hugos, was born at the Hugos home
in Norway, Kan., on August 21,1886.
She passed away on June,
24, 1962 after two years of illness
Surviving her are three brothers
and three sisters: Richard, Karl and
Lawrence; Ollie of the home, Olga Duton
of Norway, KS and Josie Medlin of
Manhattan.
In December of 1961, Clara became
a foster parent to Hanwang Soo Hang
of Korea. Her interest in
this six-year-old boy was inspiring.
Her family and many friends will
always remember her strength of
character.
Funeral services were held at the
Evangelical United Brethren church
in Hillsboro, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday
June 27, 1962 Norway, KS Cemetery.
