Cornelius Mark "Neal" McBurnett passed away in Miles, Texas on January 25, 1951 after battling pancreatic cancer. He was 67 years old.
Neal was a deputy sheriff with the Runnels County Sheriff's Department.
Funeral arrangements for Officer McBurnett were under the direction of G.C. Cannon and he was interred on the Miles Cemetery in Miles, Texas.
