George E. Bentz, 631 Wynoke Ave., Baltimore, died Wednesday as a result of injuries incurred in a fall from the roof of his home, not as a result of an automobile accident as had been erroneously reported to the Lebanon Daily News. In addition to his wife, and children, Bentz is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Viola Shuey and Mrs. Samuel Foltz, both of Lebanon; two brothers, Herman Bentz, Lebanon; and Russell Bentz, Scranton; and a number of nieces and nephews. Bentz died at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, while undergoing an operation for a fractured skull. [Lebanon Daily News, July 9, 1966, Page 2]
