Visitation will be held Wednesday evening at Palestine Baptist Church beginning at 5 PM.
Mr. Head was born in Columbia, LA to the union of Riley and Onie Haddox Head and passed from this life on Monday, May 30, 2011 in West Monroe. He was a cabinet maker, a member of the US National Guard and a mason. He was a member of Palestine Baptist Church were he served as deacon for 38 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife; Alma Lee Head, two brothers: Roy Head and Valrus Head.
Survivors include his two daughters: Mary Ellen Spangler and husband, Marty of Columbia and Paula Womack and husband, Keith of Columbia, brother; Troy Head and wife, Norma of Corsicana, TX, adopted sister; Kristina Rogers of Columbia, seven grandchildren: Mallory Womack, Emilee Womack, Jacob Womack, Zach Womack, Colton Spangler, Caden Spangler and Caleb Spangler and numerous nieces and nephews.
