COLUMBIA — Services for Onie Haddox Head will be at 2 p.m. today in Palestine Baptist Church, west of Columbia, with the Revs. Wallace Ingles and Lemiel Baugh officiating. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery under direction of Riser & Son.
Mrs. Head, 81, of Columbia died at 8 a.m. Sunday in Caldwell Memorial Hospital.
She was a homemaker and a member of Palestine Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, J.R. Head Jr. of Columbia, Roy Head of Tyler, Texas, and Troy Head of Frankston, Texas; one stepson, Valrus Head of Columbia; one sister, Esther Haddox Head of Columbia; and seven grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Terry Head, Gaylon Head, Terry McGaha, C.R. Martin, Eloy Washer and Larry Mosely.
Friends may call until time of services today in the church.
