Wilma Olive (Fletcher) Royse 94, of Muskogee, OK passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 in Muskogee, OK.
Wilma was born August 1, 1916 in Springfield, MO, the daughter of James William and Alta (Elliott) Fletcher. Wilma graduated from Springfield High School in 1934. She moved to Muskogee, OK in May of 1934 and married Troy Royse January 1, 1935.
She worked at Klaus Manufacturing Company and Muskogee Regional Hospital, retiring in 1981. She attended Oldham Baptist Church for 45 years. Her life revolved around her family and church family.
Survivors include her three daughters and four sons and their spouses: Jo and Kelly Rolland, of Muskogee, Wayne Royse of Ft. Gibson, Jerry and Linda Royse of Muskogee, Helen and Rod Brassfield of Braggs, Shirley and Kenneth Burnes of Ft. Gibson, Ronnie Royse of Muskogee, Harold and Gail Royse of Muskogee, twenty grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Wilma is preceded in death by her husband, one son Darrell, a brother Ray Fletcher, her sister Peg Blankenship, four brothers-in-law, and three sisters-in-law.
A funeral service has been scheduled for 1:30 PM Friday, May 27, 2011 at Oldham Memorial Baptist Church in Muskogee with Reverend Tom Shelton officiating.
Those serving as pallbearers include her grandchildren and great grandchildren Chris Rolland, Donald Royse, Brian Royse, Dwayne Royse, Colton Hardesty, and Dylan Duncan.
Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons, Darren Royse, Brandon Royse, Greg Royse, Kevin Royse, Jason Royse and Randy Rolland.
The family has entrusted Bradley Family Funeral Service with the arrangements.
