Jo Evelyn Rolland took her heavenly flight on Saturday, December 5, 2020 and is now in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jo Evelyn was born in Muskogee, OK on August 30, 1937 to Troy and Wilma (Fletcher) Royse.

She graduated from Central High School in Muskogee in 1955.

She married the love of her life, Kelly Rolland, on September 18, 1958 in Stigler Oklahoma and together they enjoyed 56 incredible years of marriage until Kelly entered his heavenly home in 2015. They lived in Muskogee, Oklahoma where they welcomed their two sons, Chris and Randy, until moving to Ardmore Oklahoma from 1970-1980. In 1980, they moved back to Muskogee where she resided the rest of her life.

Jo had several jobs throughout the years but the career she enjoyed the most was working with Kelly, running their family business, Square Deal Music, until their retirement in 1998.

Jo was a Godly woman who loved the Lord and God's word. She was always an active member of her church. From leading Women's Missionary Union, teaching Sunday school class, to directing vacation Bible school, she had a passion for Christ and sharing Christ with others. She was a powerful prayer warrior and only God knows what a wonderful and eternal impact her many years of faithful praying and serving have had on her family, friends, and all who knew her. Her desire was that all would be saved and come to know Christ so they would have eternal life. She was a member of Southeast Baptist Church for 58 years and loved her church family dearly. Jo truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures.

She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was the happiest when she was surrounded by her family. There was nothing she enjoyed more than spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed scenic drives, camping, listening to gospel music, and traveling the country with Kelly. She also looked forward to game night with her friends. Jo was wonderfully devoted to her family and gave them endless love and memories they will cherish forever.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Kelly Rolland; parents, Troy and Wilma Royse; sister, Shirley Burnes; brothers, Jerry and Wayne Royse; father and mother-in-law, Roy and Beulah Rolland; brothers-in-law, Rodney Brassfield, John and Randy Rolland, and Finnis Lewis; sisters-in-law, Jackie Lewis, Terry Rolland, and Lucille Royse; two great-grandchildren; and a host of friends and other extended family members.

Jo is lovingly survived by her sons, Chris Rolland and wife Stephanie, Randy Rolland and wife Sheila; six grandchildren, Luke Rolland and wife Kim, Amber Collins and husband Eric, Chad Rolland and wife Brynlee, Kristen Hutson and husband Henry, Lauren Fulk and husband Nick, and Lance Rolland; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Brassfield; brothers, Harold and Ronnie Royse; brothers-in-law, Bob Rolland and wife Frieda, and Kenneth Burnes; sister-in-law, Linda and Gail Royse; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
