Harold Lee Royse, 67, a lifetime resident of Muskogee, Oklahoma passed away Sunday, May 15, 2022 with his family at his side. He was born December 1, 1954 to Troy Wilburn and Wilma Olive (Fletcher) Royse. Harold attended Pershing, Muskogee West High and graduated from Muskogee High School with the class of 1973.
He married Gail Whittiker on July 5, 1979 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. They shared 48 years of marriage and memories together.
Harold will always be remembered for his love of the outdoors. He loved hunting and fishing; especially chasing rabbits with his brother Jerry and uncle Herb. He was always chasing big whitetail bucks or big spring gobblers. He really enjoyed sitting on his front porch shooting the bull with anybody and everybody, reading his Bible and sharing the gospel with folks.
Harold loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids (and his puppies). He was so proud of them and loved them very much.
He will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy Wilburn Royse and Wilma Fletcher Royse; brothers, Darrell, Wayne and Jerry Royse; sisters, Shirley Royse Burnes and Jo Evelyn Royse Rolland.
