Geneva "Eva" Rogers was born March 15, 1884 in Tattnall Co, GA, and died April 16, 1963 in Evans Co, GA. She was the daughter of Uriah Allen Rogers and Mary Ann DeLoach of Tattnall & Evans Co, GA. She married James "Jim" Blalock, son of William H. Blalock and Matilda Jane Odom of Tattnall Co, GA. James was born June 09, 1880 in Tattnall Co, GA, and died October 31, 1941.

James and Geneva had at least five children. Four of them survived to adulthood: Maudene, James, Ruby, and Mary. One died in infancy.
