Born May 19, 1898 at Porter, Jefferson County, he was a son of Willis and Cora (Hetrick) Bish.
He was married to the former Mary Hetrick. She died in 1933.
He later married the former Eva Oss, who also preceded him in death.
Mr Bish worked as a farmer until his retirement. He was a member of the Widnoon Methodist Church.
Mr Bish is survived by three sons, Mason Bish of Hamburg, New York, Amos Bish of Kittanning and John Bish of New Bethlehem; a daughter, Mrs W D (Anna Mae) Hays of New Bethlehem; 22 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs Harry (Pearl) King of Mayport; five stepchildren and 14 step great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 pm Sunday in the Widnoon Methodist Church with the Rev. Russell Hawk, pastor, officiating.
Interment was in Kellersburg Cemetery, Armstrong County.
Arrangements were handled by the McNaughton-Rupert Funeral Home, New Bethlehem.
