Pearl M King, 98, of Mayport RD 2, Redbank Township, Armstrong County, died at 5:30 am Thursday, January 27, 1994, at Jefferson Manor Nursing Home in Brookville.

Born December 5, 1895 in Porter, Jefferson County, she was the daughter of the late Willis L and Cora I (Hetrick) Bish.

She married Harry M King. He preceded her in death on March 16, 1974.

Mrs. King, a homemaker, was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a member of Kellersburg United Methodist Church.

Survivors include four sons, Melvin King of Fairmount City RD 1, Howard W King of Mayport RD 2, Blair King of Waynesville, Mo., and Harry King Jr. of Mesa, Arizona; and one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Violet) Beets of Riverside, California. Also surviving are 36 grandchildren; 81 great-grandchildren; 38 great-great- grandchildren; five step-grandchildren and 17 step great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Margaret King; two sons, Eugene King and Harold King; two sisters and four brothers.

Funeral services were held at 11 am Saturday in the Charles D Alcorn Funeral Home at Hawthorn, with the Rev. Robert Robinson, pastor of Oak Ridge United Methodist Church officiating.

Interment followed in the family plot in Kellersburg Methodist Cemetery, Madison Township, Armstrong County.
