MRS. FANNIE BELLE HARE, 78, wife of George A. Hare, Biglerville, died at her home, Sunday morning at 2:25 o'clock. She had been bedfast for the last five days, and was in ill health for the past three years.
The deceased was born in Adams County and was the daughter of the late William H. and Sarah (Oberholtzer) Baker. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, of Biglerville, and attended that Sunday School.
Mr. and Mrs. Hare observed their 56th wedding anniversary last December 8.
Mrs. Hare is survived, besides her husband by the following children: Mrs. Ray Weikert, Fairfield R. 1; Miss Grace Hare, at home; Charles Hare, Steward, Ill.; Raymond Hare, Fairfield; Mrs. Carl Carey, Biglerville R. 2; Paul Hare, R. 3; Mrs. Albert Bosserman, Jr., East Berlin R. 1; one sister, Mrs. Emma Seabrook, Fairfield; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Baker, Taneytown; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services in the Allison Funeral Home, Fairfield, Wednesday at 2 p.m. Her pastor, the Rev. H. W. Sternat, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, of Biglerville, officiating. Interment in Fairfield Union Cemetery.

FUNERAL :
Funeral services were held from the Allison Funeral Home, Fairfleld, Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. George Hare, 78, who died at her home in Biglerville Sunday morning. The Rev. Dr. H. W. Sternat officiated. Interment was made in Fairfield Union Cemetery.
The pallbearers were John Deardorff, Rufus Roth, Edward Blocher, Rowe Martin, Earl Garretson and John Fiddler.
