Mr. Anderson was born Jan, 5, 1936, in Oregon City. He served in the Army and lived in the Portland area most of his life. He was a food server worker, including working for the Monarch Hotel. In 1997, he married Nellie McCool.
Survivors are his wife; daughter, Sarah Berry; sons, Alan and Lloyd; stepdaughters, Virginia Summer, Mary Rogers and Debbie Venetucci; brothers, Fred and Lew; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
